Cake Pops: The Mint Green Edition

Hello again. :) This week I had the pleasure of spending time with my good friend and fellow blogger, Dee! This fashionista lives in Vancouver but visits California every so often and we always make it a point to see each other. :) Dee saw my previous photos and asked if we could make them during her visit…

… So we did. ;)

I know I promised step-by-step photos… but as it turns out, I am really not good at taking them! I’m either too immersed in the task at hand, wearing gloves covered in cake, or I flat out forget to document what I’m doing. Guess I’m destined to be a photographer, not a baker. :P Elsie Larson does a fantastic job showing a visual for each step at her blog, A Beautiful Mess. Enjoy the pics!

We mixed together the prettiest mint green color using green and white candy melts.

I was so tempted to buy the fancy sprinkles at Michael’s but it was $7 for a tiny bottle! Now I know what will be on my future Christmas wishlist. Haha.
This cake pop was aptly nicknamed “The Donut.” :PSo pretty, all in a row!
